Dr. Tarun Bassi, M.D. is a board-certified physician in Internal medicine and Obesity medicine. Born and raised in India, he attended Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, where he also specialized in Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery. After moving to the United States, Dr. Bassi completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. His passion for serving the rural community prompted his move to Marshfield, Wisconsin.
From 2004-2019, Dr. Bassi served his patients as an outpatient internist with Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, Wisconsin. He also served as a director of a Nursing home where he cared for fragile geriatric and Alzheimer patients. He is certified in Hyperbaric treatment and worked in the wound clinic, helping patients with burns and non-healing wounds.
Dr. Bassi moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. Bassi Clinic was formed in 2021, as a homage to his father, the original founder of Bassi Clinic, to continue his father’s legacy and serve.
He is managing adult patients for their health concerns including acute and chronic medical issues, medical weight loss and aesthetics. Board certified in Obesity Management, his special interest in Natural supplements and Botanicals.

In his leisure time, Dr. Bassi enjoys biking and running. He also relishes churning out new dishes, travel, spending time with his family and his dog.
